This smart controller contains an SD card reader, rotary encoder and a 20 character x 4 line LCD display. You can easily connect it to your RAMPS 1.4 board using the "smart adapter" included.
After connecting this panel to your RAMPS 1.4, you don't need your computer to power your SD card smart controller. Further all operations like calibration, axis movement can be done with the smart controller just using the rotary encoder. No need for a computer to print 3D designs, just use the G
code designs stored on the SD card.
The LCD control screen for 3D printers is an extended accessory for ramps. Offline printing can be achieved through this LCD control screen, that is, copy the Gcode file of the 3D model to the SD card, and then print the file through the LCD control screen. This version is an upgraded version of the reprap smart controller.
