How to make Gerber file in Orcad layout?

Gerber files are a standard format for describing PCB (printed circuit board) layouts and are commonly used in the PCB manufacturing process. Here are the steps to create Gerber files in OrCAD Layout:
  1. Open your PCB design in OrCAD Layout.
  2. Go to the "File" menu and select "Plot."
  3. In the "Plot" dialog box, select the "Gerber" option from the "File Format" list.
  4. Select the layers you want to include in the Gerber file. Typically, this includes the top and bottom copper layers, the top and bottom silkscreen layers, and the drill file.
  5. Select the "Plot" button to start the process of generating the Gerber files.
  6. OrCAD Layout will prompt you to specify a location to save the Gerber files. You should save them in a separate folder, as it will generate multiple files.
After the Gerber files are generated, you can use them to create a photoplot of your PCB design.
You can also use a Gerber viewer software to view the gerber files and ensure that the output is correct.
It's important to keep in mind that the steps and the interface may vary depending on the version of Orcad layout you are using.
